One of the most formidable singing voices in the Philippines, singer-songwriter Bamboo Mañalac is ready to rock you again via Bamboo: Una Mas Cebu Edition 2019 on November 23, 2019, 7 pm at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. This Cebu-leg show is a benefit concert intended for Balay Silangan, a community-based reformation program that aims to rehabilitate surrendered drug personalities in the country – a program launched by PDEA last 2018, expect Cebu Waterfront to rock.
Bamboo Mañalac popularly known as Bamboo is famous for his OPM, alternative, pop-rock, and jazz fusion, soul-jazz genre. Bamboo is popular for his vocals combining rock style with a mellow approach along with his notably energetic style in every live performance.
Bamboo started his career in the ’90s as the vocalist and original frontman of RiverMaya that churned hit after hit, among these are “Hinahanap Hanap Kita” and Awit ng Kabataan. He took a break from the music scene and formed in the early 2000s with the original hits such as “Hallelujah” and NoyPi. He went solo and released his first album titled “No Water, No Moon.”
